If it was not a cheating tool, it would have been generally available to all players through the VM main portal. That it was not made it's help not easily accessible equally to all players, therefore a cheating tool that should have been shut down years ago - or made official and available to all through the main portal.

But also the main view of the squad and the VTR rating would be a marvelous addition to vman itself skating with trophy cabinet... But the ability to see players you have not scouted is a clear cheat that was allowed to go on for too long, ruining the game for most users to the advantage of a few that could monopolise the first #75 vifa ranks for eternity.

I really don't see what the fuss is about and calling it cheating. It barely gave any advantage as it's the kind of thing you can work out yourself looking at previous training. All someone has done is work it out to a nice three figure number. If a good player was there, sure as hell others would be watching them and the price would always be what someone is willing to pay anyway. The only thing it does is help you know just how good a youth player you developed is, so that if you have to sell you're not completely rinsed. So who loses out there? It's a competitive market so the price will work out but it protects against big clubs taking advantage of newer less experienced players. So I can see why more established players don't like it, cuts out their margins. So if anything not having it is less fair it being gone.
Also as you can't scout the free agent market it does help some average players who'd do a good job at smaller clubs be found. Otherwise you just get loads of players sat on the free agent market rotting away. At least some of them get picked up and trained, they could do a job in the long run.
Finally it was never as good as scouting anyway. Scouting still gave the most accurate overview of what a players real potential was. So even if you did like a player using vman info, you'd have to scout them anyway as it could have been slightly misleading. So again didn't really give any advantage.

Just want to ask for future reference (if any crew could respond that would be helpful), if someone wanted to make some script similar to VMANinfo but make it private to themselves, would it be considered a violation of game rule 1.7 or would it be allowed? In other words, would someone making it get a ban? I always found it a bit sketchy that an outside interface was allowed like that to effectively nullify scouting, but just wanting some clarification for future
