Buying youths help:

Before buying a youth with good training then there are some indicators you should be looking for before placing your bet.
Here I will explain what I look for in a youth with potential.

Trainer / No trainer:
Always look if there have been used a trainer on the player. This is the most import thing to look for. What you basically do is to look at the players current club and check his information tab. Also remember to check how good the trainers are if there have been used trainers. This is done by look at his youth abilities, if they are high (Maximum of 20), then he is good at training youths.

Energy:
Always remember to check how much energy a player have spend on his last training as this can indicate what intensity he has been trained on. The intensity of the training can make a big difference in the performing of the youths training. The energy spend on training can also often tell if there have been used a trainer (He will use 1% energy if he is trained with a trainer).

Energy spend on different intensities:
Very Light - 0-1%
Light - 0-1%
Easy - 0-1%
Decreased - 0-1%
Normal - 0-1%
Increased - 1-2%
Intense - 2-4%
Hard - 4-7%
Extreme - 9-18%

One other thing to check about energy is if the player have been playing any games, which can make the player seem like he has trained on a higher intensity. This can be check by look on the players history or by looking trough the clubs last couple of games played (If in doubt).

Legs:
Always check if the youth you are look to buy are both legged or not. This can have a huge different on the value of the player. Both legged players are in my opinion worth around 150% of a player in same position who isn’t both legged.

Checking team training:
When look at an youths training, then don’t get fooled if it’s very high, the club could be in a good period of training. Therefore you should always look at some of the other players who have been in the club for a while to see if they have been training good in this period. If the training average for the whole team seems high in the period, then the youth are more likely to drop in training later on.

Knowing the market-value:
Always remember to check other youth players on the market to see how much they have been sold for. This should be checked for every position as the value of the player is very different from each position. Players like MD and MO are more rare than others and are therefore worth more than keepers which there are plenty of. Also remember to check which time of the day the player you are looking at have been sold at as the price can different from time to other.

Final bet:
Once you have decided to make your bet, then set a price you are willing to and don’t change your mind and follow up on a betting war unless you have the money.
I personally make my final bet late in the auction and then leaves it and then just hope (When low on credits). And if you don’t win the player this time, then there will always come up a new one some other day.

I dont know enough about wonderkids, their stats etc. Can someone please help?
Players become wonderkids aged 17-22. The wk mark is given to the best players.
And the best players are the ones with the most stats and the best distribution of stats (defensive players should be strong in ...)

Age Appr. stats for wonderkids:
17 ..... 300-500
18 ..... 400-700
19 ..... 500-900
20 ..... 600-1200
21 ..... 700-1400
22 ..... 800-1500

So if you have an 18 years old player he could become a wk if his stats are higher than 400. The wk mark is given to a percentage of the players, sometimes there are many good players and more stats are needed for the wk mark.

The appr. stats for wonderkids is not official.
I have found the appr. stats simply by searching the transferlist.

Sorry to put this into idiot language, but its for the idiot guide, so to speak.

So its fair to say the following?

- A Wonderkid symbol IS a sign of a good player, who has been trained well.
- Only the top players are given the W symbol
- The stats needed is only a guide as it is only the top x %age of players that gets the W.
- Players may lose and gain the W mark on a basis, if they are at the lower threashold of the W stats range?
- A W is a good player as to get the symbol the player has to have a good training potential?

Stats? How does that worl then. Do certain players need certain stats, or can an balanced player get a Wonderkid Symbol?

Apologies for the questions. The plan is that this guide should be so simple to understand that a newbie with an IQ of 7 should be able to understand it.
