2016-47:

We begin in Germany with a cup win for WACCOE. Nice work Phil.

Next is Greece and another cup win. This time for The Quakers. Decent compensation as they bide their time in getting into the top division to challenge for the league.

Arsenäl FC ended Johns Army's recent monopoly of the Scottish league and their own major trophy abyss (38 weeks) by winning the league and cup.

Liverpool FC played 46 games this week and only lost one. That all adds up to a treble of Spanish league, Spanish cup and VMWC. This was the first time of winning the VMWC, defeating the likes of FC Innova and Mopa city along the way, and makes them the twelfth international team to win that trophy. Having become the most successful international team in Spain they have now moved on to pastures new.

Bath Rovers won the cup in Sweden. Obviously this was the finest achievement of the week.

Last but not least, SuDoku AFC won a trophy in the USA for the third consecutive week, this time adding the cup to last week's league title and the cup win of two weeks ago.

Well done all, but especially Bath. Obviously.

2016-48:

First stop England. FA Cup win for Aiki FC. Sixth trophy of the year for them. Well done Andrew.

Sachin United added another trophy to the first one they won a couple of weeks ago by recapturing the Greek Cup.

An eighth league title for Liverpool FC, this time in Italy. Another aim ticked off; win the league competing against the best club in the game. smiley

Arsenäl FC retained the league in Scotland, whilst Johns Army regained the cup. That means that in the last ten seasons, international teams have won sixteen of the twenty trophies on offer in Scotland.

Finally this week, SuDoku AFC won the league in the USA. They are another team who won their eighth league title this week. Can they get to ten before the turn of the year?

Well done all above smiley

I missed out on the USA double by losing 0-1 in the last minute of the Final smiley
= so I'll have to stay another week and have another try...

2016-49:

Let's start in Brazil, shall we!? smiley Liverpool FC won the league there at the first attempt, making that their sixth title in the last seven weeks. They also became the fourteenth international team to win the Super Cup after thrashing Mopa City 3-0 in the final. They couldn't quite make it a treble though, as they were soundly beaten by Afghanistan in the Copa do Brasil final. Nice start to the week, eh?! smiley

It was an excellent week in England too. Aiki FC won the league title for a fourth time, whilst Tottenham Hotspur won the cup, their first trophy in nine weeks.

The Quakers got back to winning league titles after enduring a few weeks in the lower divisions in Greece. One to go Keith?

Johns Army regained the league title in Scotland, whilst Arsenäl FC, who relinquished that trophy, found some consolation in winning the cup.

A very big well done to AFC Kilbirnie Ladeside for winning their first major trophy this week, the Swedish cup, after just missing out on it last week. Well done Alistair.

Finally, we head back across the Atlantic to the USA, where SuDoku AFC retained the league title and Dunfermline Ath AFC regained the cup. Great work by Chas and Dave! smiley

Very good week everyone. Keep it up.
