Hi, that's because Manningham wasn't a youth team but a normal team. It's tough when put in the same division as them as they are always going to be better

Goal next season is to "try" and stay in div 1 and then upgrade stadium again

Barely 9th place but had for the first time 3 cup matches at home and friendlies, and youth team in 4th divisions in top 4-5

Dropped back into division 2 again smiley

Goal this season is getting a squad around 30/31 years old and all 70's and build from there.

Youth squad is starting to pick up the revenue so looking to increase the stadium a bit

Seems there isn't such a big difference in income between you and me, despite you being in 1st and me in 2nd division (+ youth team in 4th division and 5.4k places sold out at 6-7 C).

I've seen some blog post, on vmstats I think, detailing the match income formula based on the analysis of a year's worth of matches or so.

This could be interesting to see how much max income you can get based on your supporters and opponent's supporters.

So for my division 2.2, the max nr of supporters is just shy of 11k while the average is 6.6k supporters.

Ticket Price >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>5>>>>>>6>>>>>>7>>>>>8>>>>>>9
Home team Support factor >>>4,6>>>3,72>>>>>2,92>>>2,09>>>1,3
Away team Support factor >>>0,77>>>0,63>>>>>0,48>>>0,34>>>0,2

So assuming max supporters as home and average supporters as away:
Ticket Price >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>5>>>>>>>>6>>>>>>>7>>>>>>>8>>>>>9
Max.Stadium >>>>>>>>>>>>55.631>>>>45.037>>>35.255>>>25.211>15.605
Max.Income per match >>>>278.154>>270.220>>246.787>>201.685>140.448
Max.SeasonTickets >>>>>4.172.304>4.053.295>3.701.812>3.025.271>2.106.717

Assuming average 6.6k supporters for both home and away:
Ticket Price >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>5>>>>>>>>6>>>>>>>7>>>>>>>8>>>>>9
Max.Stadium >>>>>>>>>>>>35.501>>>28.758>>>22.478>>>16.065>>>9.917
Max.Income per match >>>177.507>>>172.549>>157.343>>128.519>>89.249
SeasonTickets >>>>>>>>2.662.605>2.588.231>2.360.149>1.927.786>1.338.740

It seems one could go as high as 55k stadium at 5C for max income before promotion to 1st division (but there is little gain between 45k at 6C and 55k at 5C) , while a minimum should be around 10k otherwise the deficit is great over a season where the difference is close to 100% more income at max stadium at 5C compared to max stadium at 10C.

Hope this helps someone better plan stadium expansion, I know it's useful for me to determine if I need to expand or improve team to get higher rating and better results.

Selling everyone over 30 and piling 19m into training ground and getting up to black

What's everyone else doing/working towards?

I'm still aiming for my final Country Double (League and Cup in the same season).
It's taking me ages to get (England) - and won't be this season again now.

But I will get there sooner or later - with a few better players once my Assistant manager gets back to me with some more scouting reports ... ... ...

Not sure that was the best strategy for your club since with the release of youth teams the higher training facilities have a bigger advantage, now I think only the top 2 are really worth it, while before even LTF was worth training on.
You are trading weekly income of 3M for nothing... Better get a younger team and bigger stadium and improve the TF every month or so, and then if you want to sell at some point you'd have a better start from ETF at least.

As for my objectives is to increase the rating of my first team, sell some of the youth and replace them with ones with better potential to train and make money for the WCTF in the end. Might upgrade the stadium once more if the first team performs well as it has this season...
